Korankei, in the Asuke area of Toyota City, is one of central Japan’s best-known spots for autumn color. The festival is held in November, when around 3,000 maple trees reach their peak.
The leaves are lit up every evening from sunset until 9 p.m. during the festival, and events are held mainly on weekends.
