Editorial Policy
Articles on KIREI TABI are produced by the KIREI TABI editorial team. We follow these principles so readers can rely on what we publish about Japanese culture and travel.
How we write
- Start from the reader’s question: each article answers one specific question people search for.
- Check against official sources: dates, places, history and methods are verified with local governments, public bodies, venues, organisers and specialist associations.
- Show our sources: the sources we used are listed at the end of every article.
- Leave out what we can’t verify: if we can’t confirm something from official information, we don’t publish it.
Our use of AI
We use AI to help research and draft articles. Everything it produces is checked against official sources under the policy above, and only verifiable information is published. Our travel and accommodation articles are guides based on official information, not first-hand trip reports.
Keeping information current
- Event listings are re-checked twice a week for date changes and cancellations. Past events are marked as ended.
- When we revise an article, we show the update date.
- Prices and opening hours change often, so we don’t list them and point you to official websites instead.
